City Council <br />Special Meeting Minutes <br />July 12, 2005 <br />Page 9 of 9 <br />Mayor Sisk thanked all the citizens who have given testimony on the Comp Plan. <br />He stressed the importance of~ having population numbers included in the Comp <br />Plan and asked Council to consider a lower population number. He voiced his <br />desire to have the Comp Plan reflect flexibility. He suggested putting Resolution <br />No. 36 into the Comp Plan. He addressed the Hanson and other similar <br />proposals and stated the Council has an opportunity to encourage different types <br />of housing. He suggested the next update for the comp plan be in 2008. <br />Council member Brown agreed there should be a range of numbers and <br />suggested the Council should now look at areas. <br />Ty Gee, 253 Hoover Court, Louisville, CO in response to Council member Keany, <br />stated in his population projections, he used the 25,000 that was referenced the <br />week before by Mayor Sisk. Fie did not agree the City is closing the doors and <br />prohibiting future growth. He ~;upported the Planning Commission's <br />recommendation. <br />Mayor Sisk continued the public hearing to August 2, 2005. <br />ADJOURN <br />Council member Brown moved for adjournment.
