Don Brown unveiled the original watercolor art piece of downtown <br />Louisville, painted by his mother. The Commission will discuss selling <br />prints and auctioning the original drawing. The fund-raising committee will <br />review a spreadsheet of anticipated revenue. <br />D. Membership <br />1. New memberships for 2007, to date: <br />Individual/Family: 22 <br />Business Sponsors: 4 <br />2. Stickers for Business Sponsors will be ordered and included with letters <br />mailed to businesses in December with their renewals <br />3. The prospect of a historically relevant article in the Louisville Times, <br />including a thank-you for Business Sponsors, was discussed. <br />4. A greater effort will be made to "tap into" class reunions for possible new <br />members. <br />5. Names for complimentary memberships should be sent to Bridget. <br />Twenty complimentary memberships have been given out so far. <br />E. Volunteers - No report <br />F. Public Relations <br />1. Network meeting with Lafayette and Superior on September 25th, 8:00 <br />a.m. <br />2. Donna Hauswald will contact Anne Robinson regarding an idea for a book <br />club. <br /> <br />X. Chairperson's Report - Volunteer Mona Doersam will be taken out to dinner as <br />a thank you for her work with the Silent Auction. <br /> <br />XI. Commission Comments - None <br /> <br />XII.
