the current "donations", above and beyond that amount is probably not going to
be available.

X. City Staff Update - Kathy Martin distributed new keys for the Arts Center.
Kathy M. discussed the Memorandum from Malcolm Fleming, City Manager
regarding the consolidation of the Recreation and Senior Service and Land
Management Departments. She announced that Scott Robson will be attending
our next meeting. Julie Seydel will soon take requests for reserving the Arts
Center for the first six months of 2008. Kathy further discussed that Malcolm
would like to see all boards to operate in a similar manner with a "workplan" or
goals for the new year. Don responded that as a volunteer body such as ours, it
is difficult to come up with a "workplan". Kathy P. suggested that a "goal" is a
good idea, perhaps simple goals. Wendy suggested more outreach and
fundraising is necessary in our future plans and goals and that it would be
beneficial for LCC to have some stated goals for more focus.

XI. Event Schedule Update - David Hosansky discussed the November 1 ih
schedule for the Silent Movies and suggested that the 2nd Silent Movie featuring
the Orchestra should be $5 Children, Senior and $7 Adults. David further
discussed the Children's Concert on December 1 S\ Saturday, which David and
Carol will organize. Kathy P. suggested tapping into the Youth Advisory Board for
volunteers to encourage donations.

XII. Public Relations Update - None

XIII. Arts Center Steering Committee - Don Atwood recapped on the New Arts
Center Steering Committee (SC)'s meeting with the family who owns the grain
elevator, and the family's lack of consensus on the best use of the property. One
of its owners apparently has other plans for the property. Don discussed the
need for a plan, financial resource, as well as a guideline for acceptable space
for the New Art Center. Wendy suggested that SC is in need of other businesses
to support the group. Tebo was one suggestion mentioned as a possible contact.

XIV. Sponsorships - Kathy Pollicita has $100 Safeway gift certificate for Wendy.

XV. LCC Brainstorming - None

XVI. Recap of Completed Events - See "XI. Event Schedule Update"

XVII. Fall Events prior to Oct. Meeting - Wendy's Coffeehouse Concert with
Mike Dowling, Guitarist on September 28,2007,7:30 pm and Mike's Workshop
on Saturday, September 29th, 1-4pm at LCA. Rec Center to take reservations for
the concert and Wendy will take reservations for the workshop.
