He felt it would be helpful for <br /> Council Liaisons' to announce when City Boards and Commissions are meeting. <br /> Council member Jasiak reported the Sustainability Board will meet on Wednesday, <br /> February 20, at 6:30 p.m. at the City Hall. The Board of Adjustment will also meet on <br /> Wednesday, February 20 at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. <br /> Council member Sackett reported the Louisville Senior Advisory Board is hosting its <br /> Annual Heat Relief Dinner on the evening of Thursday, February 21 at the Louisville <br /> Recreation Center from 5-8 p.m. Mayor Muckle noted the Silent Auction portion of the <br /> event begins at 10:00 a.m. <br /> Council member Yarnell reported the Louisville Cultural Council will meet on Thursday, <br /> February 21 at the Louisville Recreation Center at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Mayor Muckle also addressed the Finance Committee Meeting and noted the sales tax <br /> recovery to the 2005 levels means the economy is better. He thanked the citizens for <br /> passing the voter approved use tax, which is also bringing in revenue and providing <br /> services to the residents. <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION — REAL PROPERTY ACQUISITIONS AND DISPOSITIONS <br /> (Louisville Charter, Section 5-2(c)—Authorized Topics— Consideration of real property <br /> acquisitions and dispositions, only as to appraisals and other value estimates and <br /> strategy, and C.R.S. 24-6-402(4)(a)) <br /> REGULAR BUSINESS ITEMS SUSPENDED <br /> City Attorney Light explained the City Manager is requesting the City Council convene <br /> an Executive Session for the purpose of consideration of potential real property <br /> disposition — parcels of real property in Louisville. <br /> City Clerk Varra City Clerk Varra read Section 2.90.050 public statement from the <br /> Louisville Municipal Code, which governs the topics discussed in an executive session. <br /> City Attomey Light stated the authority for conducting an executive session is the <br /> Louisville Charter, Section 5-2 (c) - Authorized Topics— Consideration of real property <br /> acquisitions and dispositions, only as to appraisals and other value estimates and <br /> strategy, and C.R.S. 24-6-402(4)(a) under the Colorado Open Meetings Law. He <br /> requested two motions; one for the potential disposition of real property owned by the <br /> City and a second for the potential acquisition of real property. <br /> MOTION: Mayor Muckle moved the City Council convene an executive session for the <br /> purpose of consideration of potential real property disposition — parcels of real property <br /> owned by the City, but only as to appraisals, value estimates and strategy for such <br />
