He stated that a meeting is scheduled for January 22, 2002 to discuss the two
alternatives. He noted that the 22nd of January is also a work session for City Council.
He stressed the importance of the meeting and noted that he would attend the RTD
DASH (Route 227) meeting in lieu of the Council work session.

Sisk reported that on New Year's Day, he was had an occasion to be at the Louisville
Recycling Center. He noted that there was a considerable amount of citizens there
utilizing the facility and the cardboard compactor in particular. With the heavy usage, the
cardboard compactor jammed. He commended a City of Louisville Parks employee who
assisted the public by opening up and operating the compactor. He stated that even
though it was 10:00 a.m. on New Years Day, the employee was providing excellent
customer service.
