Louisville City Council Meeting <br />January 7, 2002 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL - OATH OF OFFICE - BY JUDGE BRUCE JOSS <br /> <br />Municipal Judge Bruce Joss swore in Council members John Keany - Ward I, Michele <br />Van Pelt - Ward II and Arnold Levihn - Ward HI. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT OF MAYOR PRO-TEM - CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />Mayer nominated Chuck Sisk as Mayor Pro-Tem, seconded by Brown. Mayer moved <br />that the nominations be closed, seconded by Brown. <br /> <br />Davidson asked for a vote on the nomination of Chuck Sisk as Mayor Pro-Tem. All in <br />favor. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT OF CITY OFFICIALS - OATH OF OFFICE - BY JUDGE <br /> BRUCE JOSS <br /> <br />MOTION: Sisk moved that Council make the following appointments: <br />City Attorney - Sam Light, Griffiths, Tanoue, Light, Harrington and Dawes; <br />Water Attorney - Michael Shimmin, Vranesh and Rasich, LLC; Prosecuting Attorney- <br />Martin Staab and Deputy Municipal Judge - Lawrence Mertes, seconded by Mayer. All <br />in favor. <br /> <br />Brown stated that Martin Staab was not aware that the appointment for City Prosecuting <br />Attorney would be this evening. He advised Council that the Prosecuting Attorney would <br />have to be sworn in at a later date. <br /> <br />Municipal Judge Bruce Joss swore in the City Officials <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT TO CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEES <br /> <br />Davidson announced the appointments to Council Committees: <br /> <br />Council Finance Committee - Davidson, Sisk and Van Pelt. <br />Boulder County Consortium of Cities - Mayer/Alternate Van Pelt. <br />DRCOG - Keany/Altemate Brown. <br />Senior Advisory Board Representative - Sisk/Alternate Levihn. <br />Rocky Flats Impact Committee - Staff member Balser <br />Legal Review Committee - Sisk, Brown and Levihn <br />Council Liaison w/Louisville Chamber of Commerce - Keany/Alternate Brown <br />BVSD Comp Planning Committee - Van Pelt/Alternate Sisk <br />Library Board of Trustees Liaison - Brown/Alternate Levihn <br />Water Committee - Davidson and Levihn <br />McCaslin Interchange Improvement Committee - Davidson and Levihn/Altemate Sisk <br /> <br /> <br />
