1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 05 <br />SERIES 2013 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PRESERVATION AND RESTORATION GRANT <br />FOR THE THOMAS HOUSE AND GARAGE, A LOCAL HISTORIC LANDMARK, <br />LOCATED AT 700 LINCOLN AVENUE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Historic Preservation Commission a <br />Preservation and Restoration Grant application for the Thomas House, located at 700 <br />Lincoln Avenue, on property legally described as Lots 12, 13, and 14, Block 8, Pleasant <br />Hill Addition, City of Louisville, State of Colorado; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Staff and the Louisville Historic Preservation Commission <br />have reviewed the application and found it to be in compliance with Section 3.20.605.D <br />and Section 15.36.120 of the Louisville Municipal Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Louisville Historic Preservation Commission has held a properly <br />noticed public hearing on the proposed Preservation and Restoration Grant application <br />and has recommended the request be forwarded to the City of Louisville City Council with <br />a recommendation of approval; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the preservation work being requested for the Thomas house is roof <br />and gutter rehabilitation and replacement work; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Historic Preservation Commission finds these proposed <br />improvements will assist in the preservation of the Thomas House, a local historic <br />landmark. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> <br />1. The proposed Preservation and Restoration Grant application for the <br />Thomas House, in the amount of $20,000 is hereby approved. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED this ______ day of _____________, 2012. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ______________________________ <br /> Peter Stewart, Chairperson
