It will be interesting to look at the baseline study as it will help inform any possible efforts we make in the area of energy conservation. XI. Baseline Study We finally have an approved contract from Sam Light (our City Attorney)! We should have a purchase order by next week. According the payment schedule, stuff should start happening in April and May. Perhaps November delivery date for study – CU Denver says it is a 6-month effort. Ted and Mary Ann are sort of leading the effort for LSAB (Dave is doing the work). Solar installations are powering 8% of city energy use at the moment. IX. Items for Next meeting: . Recap what we are going to discuss next month • Chickens - We will do a review of what other cities are doing. We will want to put in the agenda and it is likely there will be public comment and attendance • Report on Building Code board of appeals from Andy. • DSM programs for the City of Louisville (Jim needs to make an outline / idea for this) • City energy report • Urban gardens X.
