Safety improvements include closing off dangerous access points and <br />reducing conflict points through an access management plan. The indentified intersection improvements <br />enable safer pedestrian crossings at key locations, and bicycle lanes provide facilities for cyclists where they <br />currently do not exist. The proposed auxiliary lanes and intersection improvements will improve system <br />quality and improve mobility for all travel modes in the corridor.
