City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />May 21, 2013 <br />Page 9 of 19 <br />Staff determined the existing water tap fees table does not communicate the tap fee <br />ordinance language and therefore a draft updated tap fee table was developed. The <br />findings will be incorporated into the larger utility rate study currently underway. <br />Additional modifications may be proposed upon completion of the study. Revenues <br />from multifamily and townhome water tap fees will significantly decrease, landscape tap <br />fees will significantly increase, and sewer tap fees will moderately increase. The actual <br />amounts are dependent upon the magnitude and timing of actual development in <br />Louisville. Staff recommended the City Council approve Ordinance No. 1633, Series <br />2013 on second and final reading. <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br />Mayor Pro Tem Dalton stated the Public Works Director's presentation was a very clear <br />and commended the staff for their work. Mayor Muckle concurred and noted Council <br />reviewed this report at a study session. <br />Mayor Muckle called for public comment and hearing none closed the public hearing. <br />MOTION: Mayor Pro Tem Dalton moved to approve Ordinance No. 1633, Series 2013 <br />on second and final reading, seconded by Council member Sackett. Roll call vote was <br />taken.
