Historic Preservation Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />May 20, 2013 <br />Page 8 of 9 <br /> <br />Stewart brought the discussion back to the remaining demolition requests. He then <br />added it might be helpful to have a running spreadsheet to show the progress of each <br />demolition requests. <br />La Grave mentioned about the development of an HPC website. <br />Robinson stated the HPC cannot have a separate website, but there can be an updated <br />website to include more activities. He asked for the HPC to give a list of what they <br />would like to see in the website and he can forward it to the appropriate personnel. <br />Update on Alteration Certificates – none <br />Stewart stated this sounded like a pretty straight forward request. <br />Discussion/Comments on Planning Department Referrals – none <br />Updates – <br />Reconnaissance Survey <br />Robinson stated this project is moving along. <br />Austin-Niehoff HSA <br />Robinson stated we are very close on these items. <br />Jefferson Place Survey <br />Robinson stated there will be a public meeting on May 30th. He stated the document is <br />also still being reviewed by the state. <br />Items from Staff - <br />Robinson stated the plaques are completed and are being distributed. Staff is also <br />working on a website dedicated to this program. <br />Stewart asked about the vacant position on HPC and whether this is someone <br />appointed to fill it. <br />Robinson stated there was and the City Council needs to still act on that application. <br />Items from Commission Members <br />Certificates of Appreciation <br />Robinson presented samples of the Certificates provided by staff. <br />La Grave stated he didn’t believe a paper certificate is not adequate for the service <br />these individuals did for the HPC. He stated he would work on something.
