In all, the top thirteen employers employ 2,690 workers, 1,025 of whom are in <br /> the professional, scientific and professional services sector. The Avista Adventist Hospital is the city's top <br /> employer with 600 workers. Conversely, 91 percent of Louisville's <br /> employed workforce of 10,136 commuted to jobs outside of the city.
