Louisville City Council Meeting <br />April 16, 2002 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />Davidson called for City Attorney Introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Sam Light read Ordinance No. 1376, Series 2002. <br /> <br />Davidson opened the public hearing and called for Staff presentation. <br /> <br />City Manager Bill Simmons reviewed Ordinance Nos. 1376 and 1377, Series 2002, <br />which amend Chapter 17 of the Louisville Municipal Code. He stated that Staff is <br />recommending that Ordinance Nos. 1376 and 1377, Series 2002 be continued to May 7, <br />2002, to allow for Planning Commission review. <br /> <br />Sisk asked if continuing the Ordinances would have a negative impact on any downtown <br />businesses. Simmons stated that the businesses have been notified of the ordinances <br />timetable and to date there has not been any comments. <br /> <br />Sisk asked if the building applications would be retroactive. Simmons stated that the <br />ordinances have specific provisions: With regard to the parking ordinance, any prior <br />payment will be refunded with interest. In instances where a PUD has expired or will <br />expire, they will be renewed administratively. <br /> <br />Brown had questions relative to the issue of storage space. He stated his understanding <br />that inhabitable storage space such as bathrooms, stairways, and hallways are exempt. <br /> <br />Simmons stated that the ordinance is presented with no exemption for storage spaces. He <br />stated there has not been a consensus of Council to include storage. <br /> <br />MOTION: Davidson moved that Ordinance No. 1376, Series 2002 be continued to May <br />7, 2002, seconded by Sisk. All in favor. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1377, SERIES 2002 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />CHAPTER 17.28 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE TO PROVIDE <br />PROCEDURES FOR ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW OF REQUESTS FOR <br />EXTENSION OF THE TIME LIMIT ON APPROVALS OF FINAL <br />DEVELOPMENT PLANS FOR COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL PUDS - 2nd <br />reading - public hearing (advertised Daily Camera 3/9/02) <br /> <br />Davidson called for City Attorney introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Sam Light read Ordinance No. 1377, Series 2002. <br /> <br />Davidson opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />MOTION: Davidson moved that Ordinance No. 1377, Series 2002 be continued to May <br />7, 2002, seconded by Sisk.
