Louisville City Council Meeting <br />April 16, 2002 <br />Page 7 <br /> <br />Sisk reported that he is in the process of remodeling his home and has temporarily moved <br />to another home outside his ward. He noted that, prior to moving he conferred with the <br />City Attorney. It was the City Attorney's opinion that the intent and declared domicile is <br />in Ward I, therefore, temporarily moving out of his ward would not create a problem. <br /> <br />City Attorney Light confirmed that domicile refers to intent and a domicile is where one <br />declares his residence. <br /> <br />Davidson suggested that Council appoint member to the Historical Preservation <br />Commission. <br /> <br />Sisk stated that Council must enact an ordinance to create Historical Preservation <br />Commission. <br /> <br />Brown agreed that Council should move forward with a recommendation to create a <br />Historical Preservation Commission. <br /> <br />Simmons reported that he had asked the Public Works Director to distribute copies of the <br />Community Recycling and Waste Reduction survey to Council. He explained that <br />Louisville residents will be receive a copy of the survey. <br /> <br />Assistant to the City Manager Balser reported that the April 22, 2002 work session <br />agenda will also include the ward redistricting. She noted that Mayor Pro-Tern Sisk and <br />Boulder Valley Schools Superintendent Dr. Garcia discussed a joint meeting between the <br />City Council and the School Board. She announced that a meeting date has been <br />selected, Monday, May 20, 2002 at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />ouncil adjourn (7:40 p.m.), seconded by Brown.
