Hope to see positive changes in new ownership. <br /> Lowe’s <br />o Aaron and Malcolm visited with them at ICSC Things are going well with the <br />Louisville store <br /> Home Depot <br />o Aaron and Malcolm visited with them at ICSC. Projecting creation of 40 new jobs <br /> Vaisala <br />o Hank and Sue did a site visit. Very impressive multinational organization <br />that provides, among other things, equipment for reading temperature of <br />highway pavements. <br /> Cable Labs <br />o They have a new CEO and are growing <br /> <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BRIEFING <br />Arc Thrift Store opened on South Boulder Road on June 27th. New BAPs were awarded <br />to Benjamin West, Canaima Outdoors, Horizon Ag-Products, and Twelve Degree Brewing. <br /> <br />The City has had a few confidential site visits. <br /> <br />No additional interest has been received on the Phillips 66 site. <br /> <br />COMMENTS <br />Susan initiated discussion of Business Assistance Plans (BAP): what are the policies? <br />Perhaps the BAP guidelines need to be restated. <br />Shelly recognized two local businesses that made the “Colorado Businesses to Watch”: <br /> Citron Workspaces <br /> Boulder Creek Builders <br /> <br />4
