Gavin McMillan said that visibility is an issue there. There are connectivity and <br />walkability issues. Emily Jasiak asked if adjusting the street between Key Bank and the retail <br />area could help. Troy Russ stated that is an involved process. Malcolm commented that <br />circulation is difficult in that area. Hank Dalton stated that we need to engage the property and <br />business owners. <br /> <br />Michael Menaker stated that Business wants predictability, consistency and fairness. The <br />PUD process is unknown and uncertain. <br /> <br />There was discussion that Small Area Plan SAP levels the playing field. <br /> <br />Susan Loo stated that she is not hearing that there is a problem in the area. She stated that if <br />business owners, property owners seek change, they should put together a group and come <br />before Council. <br /> <br />Mike Kranzdorf wonders if there is a problem to be dealt with. <br /> <br />Is changing landscaping the answer? Before doing that, a better solution may be to achieve a <br />better flow and get cross access. <br /> <br />Emily Jasiak concluded that while the ULI TAP said McCaslin lacked “Place” the one thing the <br />area has is the view of Davidson Mesa and that has inherent natural advantages. <br /> <br />RETENTION MEETINGS <br /> <br /> Staufer Realty – <br />o County Building is for lease. <br /> King Soopers <br />o Aaron and Malcolm visited with them at ICSC. The Louisville store is doing <br />awesome. <br />3
