Assistant City Manager Balser stated $5,000 was budgeted for Winter <br />Skate Program. <br />Council member Sackett statE;d for budget purposes a dollar amount must be <br />established for the business aissistance program. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Brown suggested contacting other municipalities to inquire how <br />they account and track business assistance. There was considerable discussion <br />relative to tracking and accouinting for the business assistance package funds. <br />Mayor Sisk asked what accouinting is proposed for impact fees. City Manager <br />Fleming stated the impact fees along with various other fees will be segregated <br />into the appropriate funds. <br />Mayor Sisk asked if the budgE;t includes $105,000 contribution from the Town of <br />Superior for library services. City Manager Fleming responded yes. <br />Mayor Sisk commended City (Manager Fleming and the City Staff for the 2008 <br />budget and discussions. City (Manager Fleming congratulated Assistant City <br />Manager Balser and all the D~apartment Directors for their support and work. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Brown requested Council receive an electronic copy of the 2008 <br />Budget PowerPoint presentation and that it also be placed on the City's web <br />page. <br />Council member Marsella requested $16,000 be appropriated for the Housing <br />Authority window project at Sunnyside Housing Project in 2007. There was <br />Council consensus. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />Michael Menaker, 1827 Choke Cherry Drive, Louisville, CO stated his <br />understanding of a refund to the recipient of a business assistance package is <br />not due until new incremental revenue is realized. He stated the anticipated <br />revenue is not in the budget, but the proposed annual expenditures are in the <br />City Manager's budget. City IVlanager Fleming explained individual projects are <br />being tracked. <br />Council member Sackett askE:d Ms. Hogan if the funds budgeted for economic <br />development are sufficient. N1s. Hogan explained the Staff used the $200,000 as <br />a place holder for budgetary purposes. <br />
