City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />November 5, 2007 <br />Page 6 of 9 <br />RESOLUTION No. 64, SERA.S 2007 - A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2007 <br />BUDGET BY INCREASING APPROPRIATIONS IN THE CAPITAL PROJECT <br />FUND FOR THE CITY 01= LOUISVILLE, COLORADO -Public Hearing <br />Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. <br />City Attorney Light reviewed Resolution No. 64, Series 2007, which authorizes a <br />supplemental appropriation to the 2007 budget in the amount of $16,000 for the <br />Louisville Housing Authority to provide new windows at the Sunnyside Family <br />Site. <br />Mayor Sisk opened the public hearing and requested public comment. There <br />were no public comments and the public hearing was closed. <br />MOTION: Council Member M~arsella moved to approve Resolution No. 58, Series <br />2007, seconded by Council Member Clabots. Roll call vote was taken. The <br />motion carried by a vote of 7-IJ. <br />RESOLUTION No. 58, SERIES 2007 - A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN <br />INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN LOUISVILLE AND <br />LAFAYETTE FOR PASCHAL DRIVE <br />Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. <br />Public Works Director Phare f;xplained the Cities of Louisville and Lafayette <br />prepared an IGA regarding P<~schal Drive to identify responsibilities for road <br />construction, maintenance, access and related issues. The IGA addressed <br />Paschal Drive east of SH42 and provides for Hecla Drive, which is being <br />constructed as part of the North End development, to access that portion of <br />Paschal Drive that is within the City limits of Lafayette. The IGA addresses the <br />location and configuration of the proposed Hecla/Paschal intersection. <br />A portion of the IGA addresses two main issues at Paschal Drive west of SH42: <br />1. It provides either community may initiate construction of a traffic signal at <br />SH42/Paschal Drive wlhen conditions warrant, such as approval by CDOT. <br />2. It identifies configuration, size and access to Paschal Drive west of SH42. <br />The agreement will provide for development along the Louisville/Lafayette shared <br />city boundary in a coordinated manner integrating the local roadway system <br />shared by the two communitiE:s. The City of Lafayette will consider this IGA on <br />November 6, 2007. <br />
