City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />November 20, 2007 <br />Page 2 of 5 <br />Councilor Clabots also expre~~sed his gratitude to the voters of Louisville for re- <br />electing him to another term. He noted there are many challenges ahead for the <br />City and he welcomed the opportunity to serve. <br />Mayor Sisk expressed his gratitude to the voters and to his family for their <br />support. He stated the electionn was a difficult process and stressed the <br />importance of leading by exarnple and responsibly. He commended the City <br />Manager, Assistant City Manager, Public Works Director Tom Phare and <br />Planning Director Paul Wood and all the City Staff. He pledged his respect, <br />civility, honesty and integrity. <br />APPROVAL OF CONSENT AGENDA <br />Mayor Sisk called for change:> to consent agenda and hearing none, moved the <br />consent agenda be approved„ seconded by Councilor Sackett. All in favor. <br />A. Approval of Bil'Is <br />B. Approval of Minutes (11/05/07) <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br />Robert Pierce, 1824 Eisenhower Drive, Louisville, CO thanked Mayor Sisk for <br />attending the School District reetings and representing the City. He explained <br />the issue was to have dual enrollment at schools. He stated over 100 residents <br />attending the meetings had voiced opposition to the School District's proposal. <br />He stated his understanding vas that the matter has been tabled. <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON <br />THE AGENDA <br />Councilor Muckle agreed it was a difficult election and he was glad to have it <br />behind them. He welcomed (:ouncilor Dalton. <br />Mayor Sisk thanked Councilor Muckle for his volunteer medical service to the <br />citizens of Mexico. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />City Manager Fleming reportE;d on the following items: <br />• November 27 - DRCO~G meeting where transit oriented development <br />issues will be discussed. <br />• A meeting with represE;ntatives of Aggregate Industries, property owner <br />within the redevelopment of the Highway 42 Area. <br />• A meeting of the City's Safety Committee. The City has one of the lowest <br />safety risk ratings in the State, which lowers insurance premiums. He <br />
