Approval of Biial Award for Sports Complex Scoreboards to <br />Churchish Recreation <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br />None. <br />COUNCIL INFORMATION~IL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON <br />THE AGENDA <br />Councilor Muckle announced the Historic Preservation Commission will conduct <br />a public hearing on demolition permits for two historic downtown properties <br />located at 835 and 844 Main ;Street. The hearing will be on Wednesday, <br />December 5, 2007, at 7:00 p.~m., in the Council Chambers. <br />Mayor Sisk congratulated Coach Bravo and the Monarch High School Football <br />team for their performance at the state championship. He made the following <br />announcements: the Parade of Lights will be held on Friday, December 7; the <br />Boulder County Consortium o~f Cities will meet on December 5; and the CU <br />Ladies basketball game is on Wednesday, December 5. <br />Councilor Clabots announced the Holiday Home Tour is Saturday, December 8. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />City Manager Fleming reportE:d on the following items: <br />• Parks & Recreation Director Robson will leave the City for a position as <br />the Deputy Director of Parks and Planning for the City of Denver. <br />• Boulder County on-site: annual assessment of the City's nutrition program <br />concluded the prograrrr is fiscally sound and the City Staff are doing an <br />excellent job of meeting the needs of older adults in the Louisville area. <br />He congratulated Parkas & Recreation Director Robson, Kathy Martin <br />Claudine Low and the ;senior services staff. <br />• The City Manager and Department Heads met with the City of Lafayette's <br />Director of Public WorN;s regarding their implementation of a single trash <br />hauler and recycling program. <br />• The City Manager attended a meeting where Boulder County and <br />surrounding municipality representatives discussed shared computer <br />systems. <br />Councilor Dalton arrived to the meeting at 7:14 p.m. <br />
