COUNCIL INFORMATION~IL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA Councilor Muckle announced the Historic Preservation Commission will conduct a public hearing on demolition permits for two historic downtown properties located at 835 and 844 Main ;Street. The hearing will be on Wednesday, December 5, 2007, at 7:00 p.~m., in the Council Chambers. Mayor Sisk congratulated Coach Bravo and the Monarch High School Football team for their performance at the state championship. He made the following announcements: the Parade of Lights will be held on Friday, December 7; the Boulder County Consortium o~f Cities will meet on December 5; and the CU Ladies basketball game is on Wednesday, December 5. Councilor Clabots announced the Holiday Home Tour is Saturday, December 8. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT City Manager Fleming reportE:d on the following items: • Parks & Recreation Director Robson will leave the City for a position as the Deputy Director of Parks and Planning for the City of Denver. • Boulder County on-site: annual assessment of the City's nutrition program concluded the prograrrr is fiscally sound and the City Staff are doing an excellent job of meeting the needs of older adults in the Louisville area. He congratulated Parkas & Recreation Director Robson, Kathy Martin Claudine Low and the ;senior services staff. • The City Manager and Department Heads met with the City of Lafayette's Director of Public WorN;s regarding their implementation of a single trash hauler and recycling program. • The City Manager attended a meeting where Boulder County and surrounding municipality representatives discussed shared computer systems. Councilor Dalton arrived to the meeting at 7:14 p.m.
