City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />October 1, 2013 <br />Page 10 of 15 <br />City Attorney Light explained the land use issues were already reviewed by the <br />Planning Commission, however Council may choose to send it back to the Planning <br />Commission for additional discussion and a recommendation. . <br />Council member Jasiak thanked everyone who spoke this evening. She stated the City <br />Council's goal is to make the best decisions for the City. Mayor Muckle also thanked <br />everyone who spoke this evening. <br />RESOLUTION No. 51, SERIES 2013 — A RESOLUTION SETTING CERTAIN FEES <br />FOR MEDICAL MARIJUANA ESTABLISHMENTS IN THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br />Mayor Muckle requested a staff presentation. <br />Deputy City Clerk Hanson explained the City Council approved Ordinance No. 1642, <br />Series 2013 on September 3, 2013 allowing medical marijuana businesses to apply to <br />the Local Licensing Authority for a change of location or to transfer their license in the <br />event of a sale of their business. Currently there are two medical marijuana businesses <br />in the City who could apply for these changes. This resolution sets the fees for those <br />changes as follows: <br />5.10.110 B - Medical Marijuana: Change of location application fee: $1,500 <br />5.10.130 C - Medical Marijuana: Transfer of ownership application fee: $3,000 <br />MOTION: Mayor Pro Tem Dalton moved to approve Resolution No. 51, Series 2013, <br />seconded by Council member Jasiak. All were in favor. <br />PRESENTATION — CITY MANAGER'S PROPOSED 2014 BUDGET AND 2014 -2017 <br />CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PLAN — SET PUBLIC HEARING OCTOBER 15, 2013 <br />Mayor Muckle requested Council comments on the budget be directed to the City <br />Manager. He requested a staff presentation. <br />City Manager Fleming stated the annual budget is the most important policy document <br />the City Council will review and act on. He presented a summary of the Proposed 2014 <br />Budget and 2014 -2018 Capital Improvement Project Budget. <br />2014 Budget Focus Areas <br />Flood Reconstruction <br />- Water System Intake <br />- County Road Bridge <br />- Coal Creek and Trails <br />- Coal Creek Golf Course <br />Major Capital Projects <br />
