Municipal Code is eligible for a grant from the Historic Preserv <br />the amount of up to $100,000 for commercial structures and up to <br />residential structures activities described in this Section, or <br />totaling $100,000 for commercial structures and up to $15,000 fo <br />structures. <br />b. In addition to being eligible for the grants listed elsewher <br />property designated by the City Council as a structure of merit <br />grant from the Historic Preservation Fund in the amount of up to <br />commercial structures activities described in this Section. <br />c. Grants specified in this section may only be used for preser <br />restoration projects: These projects include measures directed t <br />sustaining the existing form, integrity, and materials of a hist <br />None of the funding awarded pursuant to this section may be used <br />actions considered routine maintenance. Routine maintenance incl <br />painting, refinishing and exterior cleaning. <br />d. All grants authorized under this Section shall be conditione <br />matching at least one hundred percent (100 %) of the amount of t <br />with expenditures or an equivalent value of approved in-kind ser <br />integral to the project that is deemed eligible for a grant from <br />Preservation Fund. <br />e. An applicant may request that the value of stabilization, res <br />preservation work completed on the structure prior to landmarkin <br />considered as a credit against the matching requirement of this <br />Credit for such previously completed work is at the discretion o <br />Council and may only be considered under the following circumsta <br />i. The work previously performed was for stabilization, restorat <br />preservation of the historic structure. No landscaping or site <br />be considered for potential credit against the matching requirem <br />ii. No interior work, unless for structural purposes, may be con <br />potential credit against the matching requirement. <br />iii. Only work completed within XXXX years prior to the effectiv <br />landmarking may be considered for potential credit against the <br />matching requirement. <br />iv. Consideration may only be given to costs of previously compl <br />which is documented by paid receipts or invoices. The applicant <br />provide the City will complete copies of all such receipts or in <br />together with proof of pay, and shall also provide any available <br />supporting documentation upon City request.
