I,ouisville City Council Meeting
July 16, 2002
Page 7

Davidson called for City Attorney introduction.

City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1377, Series 2002. He stated that the version is
a second reading rewrite.

Davidson called for Staff presentation.

Planning Director Paul Wood reviewed that the scope of the ordinance proposes to
provide an extension of three years to commercial and industrial PUDS within downtown
Louisville, if those PUDS would otherwise be expiring in 2002. Thereafter, if a building
permit has not been issued within 36 months of approval, the applicant would be required
to proceed with the normal public hearing process before Planning Commission and City
Council.

Keany asked if there are any industrial PUDS expiring in downtown. Planning Director
Wood confirmed there are no industrial PUDS expiring in downtown Louisville in 2002.

Davidson opened the public hearing and asked if anyone in the audience wished to speak
for or against Ordinance No. 1377, Series 2002. Hearing none, Davidson closed the
public hearing.

MOTION: Sisk moved that Council approve Ordinance No. 1377, Series 2002,
seconded by Mayer.

Keany offered a friendly amendment that any reference to industrial PUDS be deleted
from the ordinance.

City Attorney Light asked that a typographical error be corrected on Section 3 of the
ordinance; the word "time" should be "times."

Sisk and Mayer accepted the amendments.

VOTE: Roll call vote was taken. The motion passed by a vote of 6-0.
