<br />tires, so long as the length of time of such minor <br />work does not exceed seventy-two hours and so long <br />as the vehicle on which such minor work is <br />performed is parked on a graveled or paved driveway <br />or parking area, or in a carport, and not on public <br />property or otherwise within a front yard setback. <br /> <br />c. This section shall not apply to any vehicle within <br />a fully enclosed structure nor to any vehicle held <br />in connection with a business enterprise which is <br />lawfully operating in an appropriate business zone <br />pursuant to the zoning laws of the city. In <br />addition, this section shall not apply to the <br />outdoor parking, storing, or leaving by the owner, <br />lessee, tenant, or occupant of such lot or parcel, <br />of not more than one inoperable vehicle per lot or <br />parcel of real property if such vehicle is entirely <br />covered with a one-piece opaque heavy tarp or <br />commercial car cover, securely fastened at all <br />times. <br /> <br />D. For the purposes of this section, the following <br />definitions shall apply: <br /> <br />1. "Inoperable vehicle" means any motor vehicle <br />that does not have a current license plate and <br />validation sticker lawfully affixed thereto; <br />or is in a condition of being junked, wrecked, <br />wholly or partially dismantled, discarded, or <br />abandoned; or is unable to perform the <br />functions or purpose for which it was <br />originally constructed; or is not capable of <br />being promptly started and driven under its <br />own power upon a street. <br /> <br />2. "Motor vehicle" means a self-propelled vehicle <br />which as originally built contained an engine, <br />regardless of whether it contains an engine at <br />any other time, including, without limitation, <br />automobiles, trucks, buses, motor homes, <br />motorized campers, motorcycles, motor <br />scooters, mopeds, tractors, and dune buggies <br />and other off-the-road vehicles. <br /> <br />E. Any violation of this Section may be subject to <br />abatement as provided in Chapter 8.20 of the <br />Louisville Municipal Code and to the penalties <br />described in Section 8.16.050. All remedies are <br />cumulative and the exercise of one shall not be <br />deemed to prevent the exercise of another nor to <br />bar nor abate any prosecution hereunder. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />Lf.- 2- <br />
