<br />I f ~~ <br /> <br />more process wastewater to the POTW (excluding <br />sanitary, noncontact cooling and boiler <br />blowdown wastewater), or (b) has a flow <br />greater than 5% of the average dry weather <br />hydraulic or organic capacity of the POTW <br />treatment plant, or (c) has in the discharge <br />toxic pollutants as defined pursuant to <br />section 307 of the Act, of state statutes and <br />rules, or (d) is designated as such by the <br />Control Authority, Colorado Department of <br />Health Control Agency, or the U.S. <br />Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on the <br />basis that the industrial user has a <br />reasonable potential for adversely affecting <br />the POTW's operation or for violating any <br />pretreatment standard or requirement. <br /> <br />49. Sluq Load. Any pollutant, including oxygen <br />demanding pOllutants, released in a discharge <br />at a flow rate and/or pollutant concentration <br />which will cause interference with the POTW. <br /> <br />Section 2. Section 13.32.030 of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code is amended by the addition of a new paragraph G. to read: <br /> <br />G. Hazardous Waste. Any industry which <br />discharges into the POTW a substance which, if <br />otherwise disposed of, would be a hazardous <br />waste as set forth in 40 CFR part 261, shall <br />comply with the requirements in 40 CFR Section <br />403.12 (P). <br /> <br />Section 3. Paragraph 13.32.040.C. of the Louisville <br />Municipal Code is amended to read as follows (words to be deleted <br />are stricken through; words to be added appear in capital letters): <br /> <br />C. Any wastewater having a pH less than 6.5 or <br />morc than 9.0 \;.::HJtC\Jatcr having 6.0 OR any <br />other corrosive property capable of causing <br />damage or hazard to structures or equipment of <br />the POTW or to employees of the City. <br /> <br />Section 4. Paragraph 13.32.040.K. of the Louisville <br />Municipal Code 'is amended to read as follows (words to be deleted <br />are stricken through; words to be added appear in capital letters) : <br /> <br />K. Any pollutants, including oxygen demanding <br />pollutants (BOD, etc.) released IN A DISCHARGE <br />at a flow rate and/or pollutant concentration <br />which a UDcr lmmm or haD rcaDon to leno\{ will <br />cause interference to the POTW. <br /> <br />2 <br />
