licensing authorities. In determining whether to permit a transfer of ownership, the local <br /> licensing authority shall consider only the suitability of the applicant pursuant to this <br /> Chapter 5.11, the Colorado Retail Marijuana Code, and any related rules and regulations, <br /> as from time to time amended. The local licensing authority may hold a hearing on the <br /> transfer application; provided the local licensing authority shall not hold a hearing until <br /> notice has been posted and provided to the applicant in accordance with the requirements <br /> of C.R.S. § 12-43.4-308. <br /> D. After a license is issued, the licensee shall make no physical change which <br /> materially or substantially alters the licensed premises or the usage of the licensed <br /> premises from the plans and specifications submitted at the time of obtaining the original <br /> license without the prior written consent of the state and local licensing authorities. For <br /> purposes of this subsection, physical changes, alterations or modifications of the licensed <br /> premises, or in the usage of the premises requiring prior written consent shall be as <br /> specified in the Colorado Retail Marijuana Code and the rules and regulations promulgated <br /> thereunder. Each application for modification of premises shall be accompanied by an <br /> application fee in amount established by resolution of the City Council. <br /> Sec. 5.11.150. Hours of operation. <br /> Retail marijuana stores may be open for business only between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and <br /> 8:00 p.m. <br /> Sec. 5.11.160. Signage and advertising. <br /> All signage and advertising for any retail marijuana establishment shall comply with all <br /> applicable provisions of title 17 of this Code, the applicable design standards and <br /> guidelines, the Colorado Retail Marijuana Code, and the rules and regulations adopted <br /> thereunder. In addition, all signage of the retail marijuana establishment, including but not <br /> limited to temporary signage, shall contain only the business name and trademark of the <br /> retail marijuana establishment. <br /> Sec. 5.11.170. Security requirements. <br /> Security requirements for any premises licensed pursuant to this chapter, shall include, at a <br /> minimum, lighting, physical security, video, alarm requirements, and other minimum <br /> procedures for internal control as deemed necessary by the local licensing authority to <br /> properly administer and enforce the provisions of this chapter. <br /> Security measures at all retail marijuana establishments shall be consistent with all <br /> requirements imposed by the state licensing authority and its rules and regulations as <br /> authorized by the Colorado Retail Marijuana Code. The local licensing authority shall have <br /> the authority to impose additional security requirements upon a licensee as part of any <br /> order or stipulation issued in connection with a proceeding for suspension or revocation of <br /> a license. <br /> Ordinance No. 1649, Series 2013 <br /> Page 13 of 20 <br />
