Louisville City Council Meeting
December 3, 2002
Page 7

Williams thanked Louisville Athletic Supervisor Ture Nycum, who will serve as project
manager, for his assistance and Land Management Project Manager Chuck Reno, for his
work on the project.

Brown stated the Louisville inline skating program is very popular and well participated.
He thanked Staff for moving forward on the project. He
noted the original appropriation was merely an estimate of the cost and the land
preparation cost had not been considered.

MOTION: Brown moved that Council approve the contract to Environmental Concerns
Inc., for the In-Line Skating Rink, seconded by Keany. Roll call vote was taken. The
motion passed by a vote of 7-0.

REGULAR BUSINESS ITEMS SUSPENDED
EXECUTIVE SESSION

Davidson requested that the City Clerk read the public statement.

City Clerk Nancy Varra read Section 2.90.050, Public Statement of the Louisville
Municipal Code, which outlines the topics that can be discussed in executive session.

The City Attorney requested the City Council convene an Executive Session for the
purpose of consultation with respect to the acquisition of real property for the Highway
42/96th Street Project and for the purpose of consultation with respect to pending
litigation (Centennial Valley Properties, II, LLC, The Park at CTC, LLC, and the Park at
CTC, III, LLC v. City of Louisville, Case No. 02CV902, Boulder County District Court,
Div. 1)

MOTION: Davidson moved that Council go into executive session to discuss matters
outlined by the City Attorney, seconded by Sisk.
