City Council <br /> Meeting Minutes <br /> December 17, 2013 <br /> Page 4 of 24 <br /> Mayor Muckle stated Patricia (Pat) Seader has served on the Historical Commission <br /> continuously from February 1986 through 2013. She volunteered before the current <br /> library was open and helped open the museum. She has a long history with the City, the <br /> library and historical museum. She served as the Secretary for the Historical <br /> Commission for decades. On behalf of the City Council and City Staff, Mayor Muckle <br /> thanked Pat for her 28 years of service and dedication and presented her with a plaque. <br /> Pat Seader thanked Mayor Muckle and stated it has been her pleasure to serve on the <br /> Historical Commission. She stated it is tremendous to see the progress at the museum, <br /> which started out as a couple of old buildings. She invited everyone to visit the Louisville <br /> Museum. <br /> 2014 CITY COUNCIL APPOINTMENTS TO BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> The City Council met in special meetings on, December 9, December 10, and, <br /> December 11 to interview applicants to fill vacancies on the 2014 City's boards and <br /> commissions. Mayor Muckle explained the City Council interviewed many qualified <br /> candidates over the three day period and he thanked everyone who applied.
