City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />December 17, 2013 <br />Page 4 of 24 <br />Mayor Muckle stated Patricia (Pat) Seader has served on the Historical Commission <br />continuously from February 1986 through 2013. She volunteered before the current <br />library was open and helped open the museum. She has a long history with the City, the <br />library and historical museum. She served as the Secretary for the Historical <br />Commission for decades. On behalf of the City Council and City Staff, Mayor Muckle <br />thanked Pat for her 28 years of service and dedication and presented her with a plaque. <br />Pat Seader thanked Mayor Muckle and stated it has been her pleasure to serve on the <br />Historical Commission. She stated it is tremendous to see the progress at the museum, <br />which started out as a couple of old buildings. She invited everyone to visit the Louisville <br />Museum. <br />2014 CITY COUNCIL APPOINTMENTS TO BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br />The City Council met in special meetings on, December 9, December 10, and, <br />December 11 to interview applicants to fill vacancies on the 2014 City's boards and <br />commissions. Mayor Muckle explained the City Council interviewed many qualified <br />candidates over the three day period and he thanked everyone who applied.
