and the proposed future use is also restaurant, an allowed use in the Commercial <br />Community (CC) zone district. <br />The site is located in Downtown Louisville on the southeast corner of Front Street and <br />Spruce Street. The property immediately to the south is a mixed -use office and retail <br />building. The property to the north is John Breaux Plaza and the property to the east is <br />the BNSF railroad. Further east, across the railroad tracks, is the Miners' Field <br />neighborhood. The property to the west, across Front Street, is the old Library building, <br />now an office building. <br />PROPOSAL: <br />The proposed land use request is for a 998 square foot addition to an existing <br />commercial structure. The proposed use is a restaurant. The property is zoned <br />Commercial Community (CC) and is subject to the Design Handbook for Downtown <br />Louisville. <br />Site Plan <br />The proposed addition would be located on an unoccupied portion of the lot between <br />the existing building and the adjacent building to the south. The addition will be <br />connected to the existing building to the north, and will be two inches from the south lot <br />line and the adjacent building.
