RESOLUTION NO. 29 , SERIES 1992 A RESOLUTION OF TIIE OTY mUNOL OF TIIE OTY OF LOUISVILLE FINDING SUBSTANTIAL mMPLIANCE OF AN ANNEXATION PETITION FILED BY TIIE MEADOWS AT mAL CREEK mRP. AND INITIATING ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY AND ESTABUSlllNG A TIME FOR A PUBliC HEARING TO DETERMINE IF TIIE PROPOSED ANNEXATION mMPUES WIlli STATUTORY REQUlREMENfS. WHEREAS, under c.R.S. ~31-12-108, the governing body of a municipality must initiate annexation proceedings, fmd substantial compliance of an annexation petition f1led and establish a date, time, and place to hold a hearing to determine if the annexation complies with statutory requirements; and. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Louisville desires to utilize said statue with respect to the annexation of certain property described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto. NOW, TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Louisville, Colorado: Section 1. The City Council specifically finds the annexation petition attached to be in substantial compliance with the requirements of c.R.S. ~31-12-107 and that the annexation proceedings to annex the property described on Exhibit "A", including rights-of-way of the City, are hereby initiated. Section 2. The City Council hereby establishes a public hearing to determine if this annexation complies with Colorado Revised Statutes for June 2, 1992 at 7:00 p.m. at the Louisville City Council Chambers, 749 Main Street, Louisville, Colorado, Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to give all notices as required by statute. Section 4. The City Council hereby refers the annexation and zoning request to the Planning Commission.
