The <br /> BAP was listed ahead of the landmarking because the landmarking is a quasi-judicial <br /> matter. <br /> MOTION: Council member Keany moved to approve Resolution No. 6, 2014, seconded <br /> by Council member Loo. Roll call vote was taken. The motion carried by a vote of 5-1. <br /> Council member Stolzmann voted no. Absent: Council member Lipton. <br /> FINAL PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT, LANDMARK REQUEST, AND GRANT <br /> REQUEST FOR 740 FRONT STREET (OLD LOUISVILLE INN) <br /> 1. RESOLUTION No. 7, SERIES 2014— A RESOLUTION APPROVING A FINAL <br /> PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT TO ALLOW THE CONSTRUCTION OF A <br /> 998 SQUARE FOOT ADDITION AT 740 FRONT STREET <br /> 2. RESOLUTION No. 8, SERIES 2014— A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE <br /> DIFRANCIA SALOON AT 740 FRONT STREET A HISTORIC LANDMARK <br /> 3. RESOLUTION No. 9, SERIES 2014— A RESOLUTION APPROVING A <br /> PRESERVATION AND RESTORATION GRANT AND NEW CONSTRUCTION <br /> GRANT FOR THE DIFRANCIA SALOON LOCATED AT 740 FRONT STREET <br /> Mayor Muckle requested a City Attorney introduction. <br /> City Attorney Light reviewed the three agenda items for 740 Front Street which includes <br /> the following: Resolution No. 7, Series 2014, approving a Final Planned Unit <br /> Development, Resolution No. 8, Series 2014, approving a Landmark request, and <br /> Resolution No. 9, Series 2014 approving a grant application. He recommended <br /> opening the public hearing and taking public testimony on all three items. <br /> Mayor Muckle opened the public hearing and requested a staff presentation. <br /> Planner II Robinson explained the applicant, Historic 740 Front Street, LLC, has <br /> submitted a Final Planned Unit Development plan to construct a 998 square foot <br /> addition, an application to landmark the existing structure, and a request for$250,000 in <br /> grant funding from the Historic Preservation Fund. The 740 Front Street site is the <br /> location of the Old Louisville Inn, located on the southeast corner of Front Street and <br /> Spruce Street. The property to the north is John Breaux Plaza and the property to the <br /> west is the old Library building. <br /> FINAL PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT TO ALLOW THE CONSTRUCTION <br /> OF A 998 SQUARE FOOT ADDITION AT 740 FRONT STREET <br />
