Park will be included in the contractual mowing bid soon to be put out. The Parks & Recreation
Director had provided a synopsis of the use of the Recreation Center for 1995 and residents
comprised 78% of usage. Public Service had informed the City of another delay in the installation
of the last large ornamental street lights in last year's downtown improvements. Also, the City of
Lafayette had exercised its option on Parcel 4 of the Lastoka property. He reviewed a memorandum
from Ronda Kelley regarding RTD's preliminary list of local governments capital project request.
They are currently developing their 1997 - 2002 transit development program. There will be a
meeting Thursday night that staff and Mayer will be attending. Part of the goal would be to include
a circulator bus to serve Louisville and nearby municipalities.

Howard wanted the current location of the park 'n ride to be in the City's best interest and that any
expansion that takes place should take place in the current location.

COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS

Sisk reminded Ward I residents and any other residents that there would be a meeting tomorrow at
the Louisville Public Library in the meeting room at 7:00 p.m.

Mayer wanted any other concerns Council might have that he could take to the R TD meeting. He
announced that Louisville is now an official member of the Solid Waste Authority.

ADJOURNMENT

Sisk moved that Council adjourn. Seconded by Mayer. All in favor.

~~ -=>~
Tom Davidson, Mayor

ATTEST:

~~-~
Dave Clabots, City Clerk

7
