<br />HOME RULE <br /> <br />Sisk suggested that Council, at a work session, begin Home Rule discussions on the impact it would <br />have, what the benefits would be, and what the detriments would be. <br /> <br />Davidson wanted to add to that a discussion on other alternatives for the next legislative session. He <br />asked that the subject of Home Rule be put on a future work session. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br />Dave Clabots, City Clerk, read the appropriate statement. <br /> <br />Mayer moved that Council go into Executive Session to discuss legal information from the City <br />Attorney on Flagstaff Enterprises Construction, Inc. vs. the City of Louisville vs. Victor Caranci, Jr. <br />Seconded by Sisko All in favor. <br /> <br />Davidson moved that Council approve the discussion of a second subject, the consideration of <br />negotiations for the acquisition of real property and the strategy theron. Seconded by Howard. All <br />in favor. <br /> <br />Susan Griffiths, City Attorney, stated that she had requested the Executive Session to discuss the <br />status of the lawsuit entitled Flagstaff Enterprises Construction, Inc. vs. the City of Louisville vs. <br />Victor Caranci, Jr. It was her recommendation that Council authorize an appeal of the decision to <br />the Colorado Court of Appeals. <br /> <br />Lathrop moved that Council authorize the City Attorney to proceed with a appeal to the Colorado <br />Court of Appeals. Seconded by Howard. All in favor with Keany being absent. <br /> <br />Davidson stated that concerning the second subject discussed, acquisition of real property, no Council <br />action was required. <br /> <br />OTHER REGULAR BUSINESS ITEMS ARISING AFTER PREPARATION OF AGENDA <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br /> <br />Bill Simmons, City Administrator, stated that the Intergovernmental Agreement renewal with <br />Lafayette needed to be reworked and it would be brought back February 20.
