On the Friday prior to the hearing, the applicant may pick up the Outline of Hearing <br /> Procedures, Hearing Agenda, and the Preliminary Finding and Report from the Authority <br /> Secretary's office. <br /> F. On the date of hearing, the applicant (or applicant's representative)presents the <br /> application to the Authority members. The Authority decides whether to grant, deny or <br /> continue the application. <br /> G. Should the application be approved, the local license will not be issued until the building <br /> in which the business is to be conducted is ready for occupancy with furniture, fixtures, <br /> and equipment in place and until the Planning and Building Safety Department has <br /> inspected the premises. The local license will be issued from the Office of the Secretary <br /> to the Authority. <br /> H. The applicant must also apply for and receive a state license from the State Licensing <br /> Authority. An applicant, with Authority approval, may request that the State Licensing <br /> Authority conduct a concurrent review of a new license application prior to the <br /> Authority's final approval of the license application. The Authority Secretary is hereby <br /> authorized to approve an applicant's request for concurrent review on behalf of the <br /> Authority. <br /> The licensee may begin the sale of medical marijuana or infused products, as permitted <br /> by the license, as soon as the local and state licenses have been posted in compliance with <br /> the Louisville Municipal Code, the Colorado Medical Marijuana Code, and any <br /> regulations promulgated thereunder(in a location visible to the public) on the licensed <br /> premises. <br /> 4 <br />
