subject property in a conspicuous location on site (this must be posted on the site for a <br />minimum of 10 days prior to hearing date). <br />E.On the Friday prior to the hearing, the applicant may pick up the Outline of Hearing <br />Procedures,and Hearing Agenda from the Authority Secretary’s office. <br />F.On the date of hearing, the applicant (or applicant’s representative) presents the <br />application to the Authority members. The Authority decides whether to grant, deny or <br />continue the application. <br />G.Should the application be approved and after a State license is issued, the local license <br />will not be issued until the building in which the business is to be conducted is ready for <br />occupancy with furniture, fixtures, and equipment in place and until the Planning and <br />Building Safety Department has inspected the premises. The local license will be issued <br />from the Office of the Secretary to the Authority. <br />H. The licensee may begin the sale of retail marijuana or marijuana products, as permitted <br />by the license, as soon as the local and state licenses have been posted in compliance with <br />the Louisville Municipal Code, the Colorado Retail Marijuana Code, and any regulations <br />promulgated thereunder (in a location visible to the public) on the licensed premises. <br />THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT PROVIDES TRAINING <br />I. <br />CLASSES FOR LICENSE HOLDERS, THEIR MANAGERS AND EMPLOYEES. <br />PLEASE ASK THE SECRETARY TO THE AUTHORITY WHEN THE NEXT <br />TRAINING SESSION WILL BE HELD. <br />Managers of licensed premises are <br />encouraged to attend the next scheduled training session provided by the Authority <br />following the granting of a new license. All employees involved with sales of retail <br />marijuana or marijuana products are encouraged to attend at least one training session <br />provided by the Authority per year.
