Marguerite Liptonwill serve <br />as Vice-Chairperson for 2014. <br />Chairperson Carlsontook over the meeting. <br />C.Transfer Application – Cabbz, Inc. d/b/a Centennial Wine & Spirits <br /> – Retail Liquor Store License – 324 South McCaslin Blvd. <br />Chairperson Carlson introduced the transfer application and asked for an <br />applicant presentation. <br />Brian Johnson, President of Cabbz, Inc.,introduced himself to the Authority. He <br />stated he, his wife and son recently purchased Centennial Wine &Spirits. He is <br />preparing to retire from his current position and the family decided to purchase a <br />small business. He thanked the previous owners for their excellent training <br />during this transition. <br />Rommelfangermoved to approve the transfer of the retail liquor license to <br />Cabbz, Inc. d/b/a Centennial Wine & Spirits.Hughesseconded. Roll Call Vote: <br />Machado – yes, Rommelfanger – yes, Hughes – yes, Tennessen – yes and <br />Carlson – yes.Transfer approved. <br />D.2013 Annual Report <br />Chairperson Carlsoncommented he found the information in the report helpful. <br />Hughes noted this was especially beneficial as a new member to familiarize <br />himself with what the Authority considered last year. Chairperson Carlson <br />recognized Secretary Hanson for her professionalism and remarked the 2013 <br />Authority was led by an excellent chair in Mr. Rommelfanger.The Authority <br />suggested no changes to the 2013 Annual Report. <br />E. Application for Change of Ownership – Altermeds – Medical Marijuana <br />Center License – 1156 W. Dillon Road #3 <br />Chairperson Carlson introduced the item and asked for an applicant <br />presentation. He noted the present owner was in the audience and invited her to <br />speak as well. <br />Authority Attorney Light stated he would like to make initial comments. He noted <br />the item is on the agenda as a change of ownership and the applicant may <br />actually be consideringa transfer of the license. The Authority has not previously <br />considered a change of ownership or transfer of license as the Louisville <br />Municipal Code (LMC) did not allow it prior to last fall when Council approved <br /> <br />
