<br />ORDINANCE NO. 1056 SERIES 1991 <br /> <br />s- . <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 13 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE <br />CONCERNING FEES FOR WATER SERVICE RATES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City staff has determined that certain portions <br />of the Municipal Code concerning rates for water service should <br />be amended; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has concluded that it is necessary <br />to amend certain portions of the Municipal Code providing for <br />fees for water service rates; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has concluded that the following <br />amendments are necessary for proper administration of water <br />service within the City. <br /> <br />/"" <br />fJ,h <br />v"'"' <br />~ <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the <br />City of Louisville, Colorado; <br /> <br />Section 1. Sections 13.12.040 (B), 13.12.080 and 13.12.090 <br />of the Louisville Municipal Code are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />Section 2. Title 13 of the Louisville Municipal Code is <br />hereby amended by the addition of Sections 13.12.040 (B), <br />13.12.040 (C), 13.12.080, and 13.12.090 to read as follows: <br /> <br />13.12.040 - Tap Fees <br />B. For landscaped areas using drip irrigation systems tap fees <br />shall be as listed below. Drip irrigation tap fees shall be <br />limited to computable irrigation system flow rates of 5 <br />gallons per minute, or less, and to areas less than 4,000 <br />square feet. Drip irrigation taps are not available for <br />landscaped areas incorporating spray irrigated landscaping, <br />regardless of size. Drip irrigation systems shall be physi- <br />cally restricted in flow capacity to 5 gallons per minute or <br />less. <br /> <br />Effective January 1, 1992 <br />through December 31, 1992, inclusive: <br /> <br />Demand (gpm) <br /> <br />Tap Fee <br /> <br />0-5 <br /> <br />$1,600 <br /> <br />Effective January 1, 1993 <br />through December 31, 1993, inclusive: <br /> <br />Demand (gpm) <br /> <br />Tap Fee <br /> <br />0-5 <br />. . . <br /> <br />$1,650 <br /> <br />C. In the event that a tap is not put into service by the owner <br />within one year from the date of issuance of the permit <br />therefore, at the time of connection the city shall require a <br />payment of an amount equal to any increase(s) in the tap fees <br />which have occurred since the issuance of the permit. <br />(Ord. 976 9 2 (part), 1988). <br /> <br />1 <br />
