The deadline for registration is Sept. i 4, 1990. Carolyn made a <br /> U . motion to apprdpriate funds to pay for Nancy to attend . The City of Boulder had failed to meet the grant application <br /> Ideadline and had not submitted grant requests to meet their Goal. We were <br /> • informed that grant requests were aceatea or denied on their artistic merit <br /> and not divided up according to allocation. The County Commissioners do not <br /> I feel that money from the county cultural tax district snould be apportioned <br /> cv population, but that each 50 3 c group should apply directly to the <br /> I Advisory Board for funding, and everyone will compete on an equal basis, <br /> with no money set aside for any specific city or community. <br /> A special meeting on Monday Aug. 20th at 6:30 was made to discuss the <br /> Iissue further. <br /> Nancy reported the Library Art Selection Committee will meet with the five <br /> I se.iectea artists on August 24th.
