• <br /> 110. <br /> Louisville Arts and Humanities Council <br /> Regular Monthly Meeting <br /> .quint 17, 1943, 7:30 p m <br /> Louisville Center for the Arts <br /> Minutes <br /> • <br /> Call to Omer <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m. by acting President Pat <br /> Howard. Members present were: Carolyn Meyer, Shannon Hamer, Scott Calder, <br /> Donna Feldman, Wanda Tierney and Anita Gandy. <br /> Agenda: Included with agenda was a copy of LAHC arts support policy, to be <br /> read and approved-by members tonight. The agenda was approved separately. <br /> Approval of Minutes <br /> Minutes were reviewed for three previous meetings. Wanda Tierney <br /> • <br /> . 4 motioned that they be accepted. The motion was seconded and approved. <br /> Treasurer's R <br /> rteport <br /> .Scott Ca!der presented the treasurer's report. He outlined how current <br /> funds are allocate} Pat Howard asked about discretionary money left over. <br /> which,couid be put to other uses., <br /> • <br /> CCA grant application tor the Nutcracker performance has been <br /> denied. <br /> A survey from SCFD was passed around, which asks arts organizations to <br /> suggest priorities for fund distribution. Members agreed that (1) assisting ADA <br /> implementation, (2) creating an arts clearinghouse and (3) initiating <br /> communications with school teachers to showcase cultural events were our top 3 <br /> priorities. <br /> Reports <br /> President's: Anita Gandy stated she would not be available to take over <br /> other people's projects and would not be able to help out with events after August. <br /> • SCFD Grants: Pat Howard will be presenting LAHC's grant application at <br /> the operating grants hearing Tuesday in Lafayette. We are asking for $9000. <br />
