• Louisville Arts and Humanities Council <br /> Regular Monthly Meeting <br /> April 15, 1993, 7:30 p.m. <br /> Louisville Center for the Arts <br /> Minutes <br /> Call to Order <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:34 p.m. by Pr ,,Gandy. <br /> Members present were: Carolyn Meyer, Shannon Hamer, Scott C i`� =' , Donna <br /> Feldman and Anita Candy: Jane Swolak, a local artist, was present to discuss an <br /> SCFD grant. <br /> Approval of Agenda <br /> Scott Calder motioned that the agenda be accepted. Carolyn Meyer <br /> seconded and the motion was approved. <br /> Application for SCFD funds <br /> • Jane Swolak requested LAHC sponsorship for an SCFD grant to complete <br /> an art project. She circulated a resume and photos of her work. The theme of <br /> her proposed project would tie in with The Year of the Woman. Logistics of <br /> application were discussed and a deadline of May 7, 1993 was set for grant <br /> submission. <br /> Treasurer's Report <br /> Scott Calder read the treasurer's report, which is attached. He explained a <br /> new system of coding expense reports for specific LAHC projects and categories. <br /> Each request for LAHC funds needs both a category and a project code. <br /> Correspondence <br /> Anita Gandy spoke on a CCA letter, which states that LAHC access plans <br /> are incomplete. She felt this applied specifically to the proposed Nutcracker <br /> performance in terms of signing and visual impairment. <br /> Reports <br /> 1993 YAM: Anita reported that an ad was submitted for the:LSVL Rec <br /> • Center brochure coming out in May. Registration starts May 1st:slid fliers are <br /> already out in one school. Total registration is limited. She noted that CCCT is <br />
