IPoffering a musical theatre workshop 2 weeks prior that may be confusing to <br /> potential YAM participants. <br /> Film: Everyone is asked to turn in film choices. Pat needs a committee to <br /> help with logistics. Tentative date is July 17th, with a concert before the movie. <br /> Performance Workshop: Anita needs a video monitor. The actual <br /> performance will be June 25th. <br /> SCFD Grant Application: Scott Calder reported that yam. _°4 weeks to <br /> complete next year's grant. Expenses needed include ads, ._'`,: - plans, <br /> ongoing projects, and any new projects for 1994. Possible prOjalegiVere <br /> discussed, including a quarterly Arts Calendar for the Rec Center brochure and a <br /> survey/directory of local artists. Estimates of total costs were discussed. Dates <br /> were set to finalize the budget with the Grants Committee. <br /> SCFD Discretionary Grant: Scott reports that the deadline is May 17th. <br /> LAHC needs a letter from Steve Baysinger stating how much money the City is <br /> giving to cover part of the cost of an access ramp. Total cost is about $2500. <br /> Old Business: <br /> Special Meeting: the meeting was rescheduled for April 25th from 3 - 5 <br /> p.m. <br /> Christmas Project: The Middle School is holding a tentative date. LAHC <br /> needs a corporate sponsor for $500-750 of expenses. Publicity, with separate <br /> "LAHC Presents" fliers, was discussed, as well as need to coordinate with Diane <br /> Shanks. Shannon agreed to ask Bank One for sponsorship. <br /> ADA Meeting April 18th: No one is able to attend this meeting. Decision <br /> was to send for the training materials. Shannon will review them and report. <br /> YAM Assistant: Anita reported that she needs someone to assist her during <br /> the classes and beforehand to solicit money for scholarships. <br /> New Business: <br /> Performing Artists Meeting: Donna Feldman reported that she attended a <br /> meeting of local performing artists. Diane Shanks called this meeting to get <br /> performer's input for July 4th and Labor Day Festivals. About 15 people attended, <br /> and all indicated an interest in working with an organization like LAHC to organize <br /> performances. <br /> • City of Louisville Events Funds: Diane Shanks asked Donna to present her <br /> proposal that funds she raises for LSVL Events be channeled through the LAHC's <br />
