• Louisville Arts and Humanities Council
Minutes
September 29th, 1994
Regular Meeting
Louisville Center for the Arts
Call to order
The regular monthly meeting was called to order by Vice President Shannon
Hamer at 7:52 pm. Members present were Rosalyn Seglem Sonia Hayes, and
Carolyn Meyer.
Approval of the Agenda
Rosalyn Seglem made a motion to approve the agenda and Sonia Hayes
Second the motion.
Approval of the Minutes
Sonia Hayes made a motion to approve the minutes and Rosalyn Seglem
second the motion.
Treasurer's Report
• Scot Calder was not present to give a Treasurer's Report.
Correspondence
LAHC received an information packet from SCFD.
Unfinished Business
a. LAHC Survey - Scot has been working on the survey at home entering the
information on his computer. Due to his absence to this meeting we do not
have data available.
b. Historic Designation- no information to report and no recent meetings
held regarding this pursuit.
c. Movie- Mixed feelings on the success of the movie. The cost of the movie
was covered through donations. It was felt a more family oriented movie
should be a standard for this event.
New Business
a. Neodata Grant- No progress report available at this time.
b. CCA Grant- No information at this time.
c. Young Artists Exhibit- Shannon shared her experiences with setting up
the opening night and the role LAHC played in conjunction with LAA.
d. Christmas Concert- This item was briefly discussed . It was felt we would
have to charge admission rather than having a food drive as we did last year
to cover the expenses. The community is very eager to have more musical
events as was shown in response to the band which played before the movie
and comments made on the surveys.
