1
New Business
a. Young Artists Exhibit- John Hansen came to our meeting to talk about the
Young Artist's Exhibit. This year will be the 5th annual exhibit. This year it
will showcase six Louisville schools Elementary through High School. Art
teachers select 20 pictures and 5 sculptures from each school. The show will
open with the Parade of Lights December 2nd.and averages 500 people for
the reception. Last years budget consisted of$400.00. The artwork is
matted at a cost of $1.00 per mat and SilverSong donates a great deal to this
endeavor. November 21st local Art teachers must have their selections
delivered to Silver Song. LAA is asking LAHC to assist in hanging the show,
present the reception and help sit the show.
b. Holiday Concert- Advertising will be taken care of through the Parade of
Lights promotion. We need to find someone to chair person the event. We will also be able to advertise upcoming events on the
system. This system will also enable members to avoid using their home
phone numbers in the advertising of events.
Announcements
Shannon Hamer is taking a leave of absence while she is currently doing a
job search.
