accurate, shall be available for public inspection at the office of the Building Safety <br /> Division between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, <br /> holidays excepted. The city clerk shall at all times maintain a reasonable supply of <br /> copies of the code available for purchase by the public at a moderate price. <br /> Sec. 15.05.100. Violations and penalties. <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to erect, construct, <br /> enlarge, alter, repair, move, improve, remove, convert or demolish, equip, use, occupy <br /> or maintain any building or structure or cause or permit the work to be done, in violation <br /> of the provisions of this chapter or the terms of the code or standards adopted and <br /> incorporated in this chapter. Any person convicted of a violation of any provision of this <br /> chapter or of the provisions of the code or standards adopted and incorporated in this <br /> chapter shall be subject to the penalty provided in section 1.28.010. <br /> Sec. 15.05.110. Fireplace installation. <br /> A. Any new or remodeled fireplace to be installed or constructed in any dwelling in <br /> the city shall be one of the following: <br /> 1. A gas appliance; <br /> 2. An electric device; or <br /> 3. A fireplace or fireplace insert that meets the most stringent emissions <br /> standards for wood stoves established by C.R.S. Title 25, Article 7 and the <br /> Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Air Quality Control <br /> Commission Regulations or any other clean burning device that is approved by <br /> the Air Quality Control Commission Regulations. <br /> B. It is unlawful for any person to install or construct any new or remodeled fireplace <br /> which does not comply with this section. Any person convicted of a violation of <br /> this section shall be subject to the penalty provided in section 1.28.010. <br /> Section 3. Chapter 15.08 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby repealed <br /> and reenacted, with amendments, to read as follows: <br /> Sec. 15.08.010. Adoption. <br /> The International Mechanical Code, 2012 Edition, published by the International <br /> Code Council, 4051 West Flossmoor Road, Country Club Hills, Illinois, 60478-5795, is <br /> hereby adopted by reference thereto and incorporated into and made a part of the city <br /> Code. The purpose and subject matter of the International Mechanical Code include <br /> minimum standards relating to the mechanical installations in or in connection with the <br /> construction, alteration and repair of new and existing structures including design, <br /> construction, installation, quality of materials, locations, operation, and maintenance or <br /> 8 <br />
