Rommelfanger moved <br />the consent agenda be approved. Lipton seconded. Roll Call Vote: Carlson — <br />yes, Machado — yes, Rommelfanger — yes, Lipton — yes and Hughes — yes. <br />Consent agenda approved. <br />I. Authority Business <br />A. Discussion /Action — Rules of Procedure for Retail Marijuana <br />Chairperson Carlson summarized the item. Machado asked if these are similar <br />to the rules of procedure for liquor licensing. Authority Attorney Gulley stated <br />these are very similar to the liquor rules with specificity to retail marijuana. This <br />document provides guidelines for both the applicant and the Authority. <br />Rommelfanger noted an applicant was in the audience and asked if they had any <br />comments. Attorney Rachel Gillette, attorney for Compassionate Pain <br />Management, asked if the Police Department was currently holding classes for <br />marijuana licensees. Sergeant Lanphere stated the police department currently <br />holds liquor training and is working to establish similar training for marijuana <br />licensees. <br />Shaun Gindi, owner of Compassionate Pain Management, stated he is hiring a <br />company for training. The company is accredited with the State and he <br />wondered if this training would be recognized. Sergeant Lanphere stated the <br />police department trainers would seek State certification as with liquor training <br />and would likely be the same, however, it has not developed yet. <br />
