between Meadows at Coal Creek and the Gerrity Oil Co. for the removal of the gas well at Meadows
at Coal Creek Subdivision. Weather permitting and receiving the necessary improvements from the
Oil & Gas Conservation Commission, the well would be removed by April 1. There was an easement
that showed up on Coal Creek Ranch Plat, 200' setback from the gas well. A property owner wished
to purchase the lot that is subject to the largest part of the easement. It will come before Council.
He pointed out the Public Works' report relating to their activities in February. All of street lights
were surveyed and the outages were given to Public Service for repair.

COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS

Mayer stated that there was an item on the DRCOG Agenda for tomorrow night, a request from
Superior to amend the Clean Water Plan to move the portion of Superior currently served by the City
of Louisville into the service area of the Rock Creek Treatment Plant currently operated by the
Superior Metropolitan District One. After talking with the Mayor and Tom Phare, Public Works
Director, he stated that the City of Louisville's position was going to be that they feel they have an
agreement signed in 1992 that is working. There was no reason that related to waste water that this
needed to be changed. He stated that it was strictly an economical development issue for Superior
and there was no reason DRCOG should be getting involved.

Howard pointed out that the City of Louisville provided the service when Superior needed the
service. Now Superior feels they do not need it and are trying to back out of the deal.

Sisk had attended the Senior Advisory Board and they had presented a master plan on Senior
Services. He commended the Parks & Recreation Department, the Senior Advisory Board, and the
other senior participants for their fine work on this project.

ADJOURNMENT

Howard moved that Council adjourn (8:29 p.m.). Seconded by Mayer. All in favor.

~.0
~~ .~ ~v
Tom Davidson, Mayor

ATTEST:

~~<= -~

Dave Clabots, City Clerk

7
