<br />RESOLUTION NO. 23, SERIES 1996 - ISSUING AN ORDER EXTENDING THE TIME <br />FOR REVIEW OF CABLE RATES <br /> <br />Bill Blankenship, Human Resources Officer, asked Council to approve the statutory 90 day extension <br />as staff had not had time to evaluate the cable rate increase request, and to set a public hearing for <br />April 16, 1996. <br /> <br />Sisk asked Blankenship to find out why Lafayette and Louisville have different cable rates. <br /> <br />Howard moved that Council approve Resolution No. 23, Series 1996, issuing an order extending the <br />time for review of cable rates and set the public hearing for April 16, 1996. Seconded by Keany. <br />Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a 5 - 0 vote with Davidson and Lathrop being absent. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br />Bill Simmons, City Administrator, requested the Executive Session to review the strategy for <br />acquisition of property and the status of negotiations for the acquisition of property in the south-sub <br />planning area and along Hwy. 42. <br /> <br />Sisk moved that Council go into Executive Session. Seconded by Keany. All in favor. <br /> <br />Dave Clabots, City Clerk, read the appropriate Executive Session statement. <br /> <br />REPORT BY CITY ADMINISTRATOR FROM EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br />Simmons reported that he reviewed with Council the possible strategy and other information relating <br />to the acquisition of property in the south-sub area and along Hwy. 42. No action was taken. <br /> <br />OTHER REGULAR BUSINESS ITEMS ARISING AFTER PREPARATION OF AGENDA <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br /> <br />Bill Simmons, City Administrator, reminded Council that there would be no Work Session, <br />Wednesday, March 26, with the next session being April 9. He had tentatively scheduled a <br />representative from the R TD and Council will also be working on the appointment to the <br />Transportation Task Force. The Louisville Fire Protection District had requested to meet with <br />Council at the April 23 Work Session. He reported that last week an agreement was executed <br /> <br />6 <br />
