City }r <br />Louisville <br />Open Space Advisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Wednesday, March 12th, 2014 <br />Louisville Public Library <br />First Floor Meeting Room <br />951 Spruce Street <br />7:OOpm <br />I. Call to Order- Helen called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm <br />11. Roll Call - <br />Board Members Present: Tom Davinroy, Missy Davis, Helen Moshak, <br />Christopher Smith, Laura Scott Denton, Spencer Guthrie and Linda Smith <br />Board Members Absent: Mike Schantz <br />Staff Members Present: Ember Brignull <br />III. Approval of Agenda - <br />Laura moved to approve the agenda. Missy seconded. The motion was passed <br />unanimously. <br />IV. Approval of Meeting Minutes - <br />1. The minutes from the OSAB's February meeting were discussed. Tom <br />suggested an edit to page 4: The section that discussed the Golf Course Open <br />House should mention that both Helen and Laura also attended that meeting. <br />2. Helen suggested that Section XIII. should include the information that Tom has <br />volunteered to chair the Subcommittee for Social Surveys for Environmental <br />Studies, and will be looking for more volunteers from the board. <br />3. Tom moved to approve the minutes from the previous meeting with the <br />previous two edits. Helen seconded. The motion was unanimous. <br />V. Staff Updates - <br />1. Staff has selected a contractor for the Coal Creek trail reconstruction. Council <br />will vote on the contractor at their next meeting. Staff is still meeting with FEMA <br />to discuss mitigation. FEMA has agreed to help with work that involves wash -out <br />from under Hwy 36, even though it is outside of City limits. L & M continues to do <br />debris removal and cobble removal from Coal Creek corridor. Some of this <br />repair work will be funded by the Open Space & Parks Conservation Trust Fund. <br />Debris removal priorities include: concrete, places where structures are <br />threatened, washed -out crusher fines bordering the edge of the trail, and places <br />City of Louisville <br />Parks & Recreation Department 749 Main Street Louisville CO 80027 <br />303.335.4735 (phone) 303.335.4738 (fax) www.ci.louisville.co.us <br />2 <br />
