<br />DISCUSSION/DIRECTION - ROCKY FLATS COMMENTS REGARDING PHASE II - <br />CHOICES FOR ROCKY FLATS <br /> <br />Davidson excused himself from this discussion due to his employment with a contractor at Rocky <br />Flats. <br /> <br />Mayer reported the comments that were derived on the Rocky Flats Local Initiative from <br />representatives from the Chambers of Commerce, cities, and citizens groups. He requested that the <br />letter be sent on to our representatives in Congress and DOE. <br /> <br />Howard moved that Council send the letter on to Congress and DOE. Seconded by Mayer. All in <br />favor. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION/DIRECTION - SEWER SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH TOWN OF <br />SUPERIOR <br /> <br />Bill Simmons, City Administrator, pointed out that in Council's packet was the memorandum <br />outlining the process to date, the resolution that was adopted by the DRCOG Board of Directors at <br />its May 15 meeting, and a copy of the statement that was delivered by the City's DRCOG <br />representative Councilman Mayer outlining the framework for future discussions and another <br />Intergovernmental Agreement with the Town of Superior for the resolution of the Sewer Service <br />Agreement, and other issues important to Louisville. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Council comments or motions. <br /> <br />Mayer moved that Council authorize the City Administrator to negotiate a new Sewer Agreement <br />with the Town of Superior based on the principles provided in the Statement of Louisville/Superior <br />Clean Water Plan Amendment Request. Seconded by Sisk. All in favor. <br /> <br />OTHER REGULAR BUSINESS ITEMS ARISING AFTER PREPARATION OF AGENDA <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br /> <br />Bill Simmons, City Administrator, stated that notice is required by Section 2.92.010 of the Municipal <br />Code regarding the final determination of the purchase of property and the notice for publication <br />would be published tomorrow.
